Volunteers Needed
Please contact us if you can help with the food pantry on April 14th, beginning 11:30 pm. We need help offloading the truck, organizing, and assisting with the distribution.
Items needed
We can also use gloves, masks, cleaning supplies, shopping bags, paper towels.
Monetary Donations to the Food Pantry
On Wednesday, March 25th, the Center held a food distribution event where 170 families received large shopping carts of meats, eggs and other essential food items. On this day, our pantry, now the third largest in the County ran out of food!
We are grateful that with our efforts and many donations, we can again provide desperately needed nourishment to hundreds of children and adults. Help us to continue this effort throughout this unprecedented health emergency.
Monetary donations will go further than food donations because we are able to
purchase $6 worth of food for every $1 donated. The Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center, will continue to serve the most vulnerable in our community as long was we have food to give.
